Terms
Not an emergency service. Hiker AI is an information service. Never rely on it for
safety-critical decisions. In an emergency, use the SOS function of your device or contact local rescue services.
Answers can be wrong
Answers are generated by an AI model, are limited to 160 characters, and may be incomplete, out of date or wrong: weather, timetables, routes, prices, opening hours. Verify anything important.
Delivery is not guaranteed
Replies travel through Garmin's systems and satellites, which we don't control. Replies can be late or never arrive.
Fair use
- One free trial per person.
- Don't share your key publicly.
- We may limit, pause or disable keys that are abused.
- We may change or end the service.
Costs
- Messages count toward your Garmin plan.
- Your first answers on Hiker AI are free.
- Optional top-ups add more answers. They are paid once, never renew, and don't expire.
Payments and refunds
- Payments are handled by our reseller, Polar (polar.sh), which appears on your card statement. Prices include tax.
- Answers are only counted when they are sent. Errors, refusals and answers that never reach your device are not charged, or are put back on your key automatically.
- Changed your mind? Unused answers can be refunded within 14 days of purchase. Email hello@hikerai.stream with your key and we refund the unused part.
Liability
The service is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, to the extent permitted by law.
